Alpha Testers
I would like a alpha tester section, I would also like a bi-weekly release similiar to the RC so those of us who dont want to build a release could still provide valid feedback easily by pulling down a new release. This could possibly help squash little bugs from slipping thru the cracks.

I now know that there is a hidden Alpha Tester section on the forum. That means that this should be done on the Tracker as well :)

Nope, right tracker, we need alpha tester section on the tracker, to keep our comments separate towards a new release.
This is basically a duplicate of Add support for "hidden" topics allthough BAS is requesting a seperate section.
In regards to this alpha class, if implemented it would be nice to have a chat feature for us users, so we can bounce stuff off of each other. Birkoff is obviously on the tracker talking to me about trailers. I just want to send him a quick message back and forth on ideas. Cant do it, cant chat or pm, forum wins.
Please start by having a set users classified as alpha testers
Then since that user has that class, and access to a hidden discussion area, why not implement a PM system or chat system for just those users.
Good way to test a PM system or chat system.
