Need blatant, annoying "Announcement" capability
For new releases, mainly, it would be good if there were something up at the top of the tracker (flashing, scrolling, bold, whatever) that is completely obvious that this is an important announcement to take people to the entry about information on a new release (or other important event).
Just me being picky here, but please not flashing or scrolling. Bold, different colour, enormous font, anything else would be fine and is needed but flashing and scrolling will just look tacky and like something from the 90s.
No wishes, but I agree a bold font, something to make it pop, some red coloring, something.

There will be no blink tag, but I agree sometimes we need a notify feature, like – server will be down it 2 hours and so on.
Need a mockup for this.
With the recent third party issues like tmdb api being unavailable, it would be really helpful if we can easily broadcast an announcement like so people don’t keep reporting the same issue.
Yeah, I'd like to see it as a scrolling, highlighted announcement type thing on the top of any main page (not a topic detail) you are on. I think that will get picked up much better than any type of “sticky” which, eventually just gets overlooked just like a regular topic.
