A wish, is your a user telling the site owner, they really want a bug fixed or a feature built.
New accounts are granted a single wish, more wishes are gained as reputation grows
- 30 reputation: 2 wishes
- 250 reputation: 3 wishes
- 500 reputation: 4 wishes
- 2000 reputation: 5 wishes
To make a wish, a user must find a bug or feature they want fixed and click the star icon. Wishes are not permanent they may be taken back by clicking the star icon again.
Wishes are restricted and tied to reputation by design,the restriction helps focus the users on the particular bugs they must have fixed or features they can not do without. The fact they build up with reputation gives users something to work towards.
Anybody can sort the topics by the top wished ones, the top wished topics are sure bets when it comes to features or bugs you should work on.
