We have a “go to latest post” link but we really need a “go to the first post since I was here last” link. That’s what most people use to follow topics in forums.

but how do I cope with other sort orders? (for example if its sorted by votes)

  • If sorting chronologically is supported in all response types, then I'd say you'd have to change the sort when the link was clicked… But, I'm sure this is a sticky wicket. However, this is a real must-have imo to be able to keep up with what’s going on. Especially if you are away for a bit. – ebr about 2 years ago
